Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the department of computer science at the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Pakistan. As an Assistant Professor, I am responsible to design, develop and teach the course of software engineering, information security and any other courses involving software development e.g. software quality assurance. I am also the contact person of the software engineering research group in the department of computer science at the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Pakistan. Earlier, I have worked as a Research Assistant in the department of computing and communications at the Open University, UK. As a Research Assistant, I was working with Dr.Yijun Yu and Professor Bashar Nuseibeh in the research group of security and privacy at the Open University, UK. Generally, I am interested in the field of secure software systems engineering. However, as a researcher I am interested to investigate any technologies that contribute to improve the human society. Before my PhD, I have started my research career at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden by publishing a research paper from my master thesis. The paper has been published in collaboration with Professor Tony Gorschek. The paper is one of the most cited papers in the field of software release planning as reported by the google scholar. I have experience of using the ReleasePlanner tool (generating software release plans) of the Expert Decisions Inc., Canada. Moreover, I have three years of professional software development experience.
